Values In Action Employer Finale

The Values in Action Employer Finale was on Tuesday, March 22. iSTEM'ers earned certificate for their engagement throughout the 18 weeks and learned the essential soft skills required for employment all while networking! iSTEM'ers need to add this to their resumes!

Have a Great Spring Break!

Spring Break begins on Friday, March 25th and ends Sunday, April 3, 2016. iSTEM'ers return to school on Monday, April 4, 2016. Enjoy your break...and hopefully sunshine. :) Please be sure to encourage your kids to engage in as much remediation as possible over break. The files are available to them, and they know how to access. Please encourage your kids to read...read...read...as much as possible over break as well!

Spring Break Challenge

iSTEM'ers have a Spring Break Challenge: Here is an example of one way that they could keep track of daily goals and progress during spring break. The challenge competition is to see who can come up with the most creative way to describe what they did on spring break. iSTEM'ers have a template.

Pi Day (3.14.16)

iSTEM'ers celebrated Pi Day (3.14.16) at iSTEM!

Digits of Pi! Tony memorized an astounding 61 digits, David took 2nd place with an outrageous 72 digits, and Bethany set the iSTEM record at 116 digits of Pi. Fantastic all around! Click here to watch the video: https://www.facebook.com/missmathwrightistem/videos/550913475085831/

IMPORTANT: COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS

Your child's intent to participate in College Credit Plus (CCP) is due by April 1st, which is during Spring break. Please get this back to iSTEM asap. You may email it to gslivka@istemghs.org

If you have registered for the Tech Day event with the Cavaliers on April 13th, PLEASE let Ms. Slivka know so that we can compile a list, AND PLEASE complete and return to Ms. Slivka the Publicity Waiver and General Release.
