My name is Carolyn Slocombe, and I am happy to join the faculty and staff at iSTEM and work with a great group of students.
I earned my Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Lake Erie College and worked in business for a period of time. After several years, I returned to school and pursued coursework at Notre Dame College earning my teaching credentials and becoming licensed in the content areas of business and mathematics. Also, I earned my Masters degree in Educational Administration from Ursuline College.
My teaching career has spanned nearly 30 years, and I have taught at various educational environments: public, private/parochial, charter, and for-profit post-secondary. These many different teaching opportunities have helped me to truly understand the importance and value of the teaching/learning experience for every student.
