New iSTEM school accepting applications

Area students entering their freshman year of school in the fall will have an opportunity to enroll in iSTEM Geauga Early College High School.

Located in the Auburn Career Center in Concord Township, the school will offer science, technology, engineering, and mathematics programming to students in Geauga and surrounding counties.

Students attending iSTEM will be positioned as future regional leaders through rigorous academic preparation and the opportunity to work corroboratively with business leaders in the region, according to a news release. Students can also earn college credit while still in high school and will experience school differently than those attending a traditional school.
