Phase Two Construction Update

is still on track for mid-February completion for construction...but guess what's not...the furniture!  :)  It should be here, however, by the beginning of April.

Independent Projects

Students are focused and working diligently on their Independent Study Projects, ranging from creating a new App to designing a garden in the existing playground area outside of iSTEM, to researching the Greek alphabet and leading our future Nights of Discovery.  iSTEM'rs are engaged!

Wow!  Students are dedicated and focused and they know we mean business.  Mastery of the content is happening every day and enrichment for those who have mastered the content continues.  A sense of accomplishment is present!  Mastery of the content leads to enrichment in the FabLab.

Superintendent Message

You should have received an email from me or you may have seen the press release...I wanted to be sure that this information was shared with all:

Greetings iSTEM family, partners, and advocates,

As we continue through the year with the transparency that I feel is significant for iSTEM success, I share with you that I will not be returning to iSTEM for the upcoming school year.  The board acted on my resignation; therefore, I felt that it was important to share this information with you before it was “heard” from someone else.  A press release is going to the local papers as well.

Knowing the caliber of our Board of Education, faculty, staff, partnerships, and families, I am confident that iSTEM will continue to flourish while serving the children in our communities.

As the interim and founding Superintendent of iSTEM Geauga Early College High School, it is evident that our team has established a clear mission.  The iSTEM culture has been cultivated and will continue its accomplishments with the succeeding leader in iSTEM's future school years.

Dr. Trista S. Linden-Warren
