I am excited to be a part of the iSTEM community. My degrees include a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Gannon University, Master’s in Education from Lake Erie College and Intervention Specialist License from Notre Dame College.
Life has taken me in many different directions - from writing society stories for the Ashtabula Star Beacon to assisting in Special Education classes at Harvey High School, Kennedy Academy, Mentor Ridge Middle School, and Summit Academy. I taught GED/family literacy at Painesville Adult Basic Literacy Education. I even ventured into the social work field as a case manager at Beacon Health.
When I am not teaching, you can find me sewing, crocheting, swimming, bike riding, traveling and reading young adult literature. My greatest joy is my family - I have 4 adult children also residing in the Lake County Area. During my leisure time I enjoy spending time reading and playing with my 21 month old grandson.
I can’t wait to meet all the fabulous students at iSTEM! Please reach out to me if I can be of assistance to you at [email protected]
