Tamee Haines Tucker a devoted educator for over 25 years, earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from John Carroll University. She earned her Superintendent license from Cleveland State University and completed doctoral coursework, with a focus in STEM education, at Northcentral University. In addition, she is a graduate level, adjunct professor at Notre Dame College. She began her career as a classroom teacher, promoting cross-curriculum instructional strategies and encouraging students to experience the wonders of science. Over the past 2 decades she served as a school administrator for Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools, Newbury Local Schools, and Mayfield City Schools. With a rich history of individualized education, both intervention and enrichment, her focus is on providing opportunities that increase the rigor of academic experiences for all, based on the individual needs of all students. Throughout her tenure, she championed the advancement of technology based instructional strategies to increase student engagement, and challenged teachers to utilize cutting-edge advancements to promote high level student achievement. She facilitated fundraising and grant writing efforts which have amounted to equipping schools with state of the art technology directed for student use. She is a long-time resident of Geauga County, where she resides with her husband. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, son and extended family members.
She looks forward to extending learning opportunities for iSTEM students through community and business partnerships. Together with iSTEM families and students, she promotes individual learning pathways that prepare students to become lifelong learners, as they explore their personal goals.
