CONCORD, OH — September 16, 2026 — iSTEM is proud to announce that the school has earned a 4.5-star overall rating on the 2025–2026 Ohio School Report Card, placing iSTEM among Ohio schools that exceed state standards.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce released the 2025–2026 School Report Cards on September 15. Ohio’s report card system evaluates schools across multiple measures of student success, including Achievement, Progress, Gap Closing, Early Literacy, Graduation, and College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness. Overall ratings range from one to five stars in half-star increments.

“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, families, and community partners,” said Allen Wilson, Superintendent/CEO of iSTEM. “A 4.5-star rating is something our entire iSTEM community should be proud of. More importantly, it demonstrates what is possible when we remain focused on our students, provide meaningful opportunities, and create an environment where students are challenged to think, grow, and prepare for their future.”

The rating comes at an important time in iSTEM’s continued development. The school has expanded opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences through STEM education, College Credit Plus, career-technical education, and industry partnerships.

iSTEM’s commitment to college and career readiness remains central to its mission. Ohio’s report card includes a College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness component designed to measure how well students are prepared for opportunities after high school.

“Our goal has never been simply to earn a rating,” Wilson added. “Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for college, careers, and life beyond iSTEM. The report card provides important data that allows us to celebrate where our students are succeeding while also identifying where we can continue to improve.”

The 4.5-star rating also reflects the collective work of the iSTEM community. Teachers and staff continue to develop innovative instructional practices, expand partnerships, and provide students with opportunities to apply academic knowledge to authentic problems and experiences.

“We are incredibly proud of our students and the people who support them every day,” Wilson said. “This achievement belongs to our entire iSTEM community. We will celebrate this accomplishment, but we will also use the data to continue moving forward. Our students deserve nothing less.”
